In a significant step towards strengthening collaboration within the hospitality sector, Vatel Hotel & Tourism Business School in Bahrain has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Onyx Rotana. This partnership aims to enhance cooperation between the two entities, increase job and training opportunities for the college’s students, and equip them with the skills needed for the modern hospitality workforce.

 

The agreement is part of Vatel’s ongoing efforts to expand partnerships with leading hotels and resorts across the Kingdom of Bahrain. It underscores the college’s dedication to providing students with hands-on experience and practical knowledge, enabling them to meet the demands of the competitive job market with professionalism and confidence.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Shaikh Khaled bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, General Director of Vatel Bahrain, stated: “The signing of this MoU with Onyx Rotana represents a strategic milestone in our mission to enhance the educational experience for our students. By offering innovative, high-level training opportunities, we aim to equip our students with the necessary skills to excel in the dynamic fields of tourism, hospitality, and hotels. This collaboration further reinforces our commitment to bridging academic learning with real-world application, ensuring our graduates are well-prepared for the workforce.”

The MoU will allow Vatel Bahrain students to train in multiple departments within Onyx Rotana Hotels, fostering a robust exchange of academic and practical expertise.
