The General Director of Vatel Hotel & Tourism Business School in Bahrain, Shaikh Khaled bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, visited the college's campus in Nîmes , France, where he met with the college's leadership and several topics were discussed.
This visit aims to strengthen relations and ties between the Vatel Bahrain, and the college's various campuses in France.
During the visit, officials at Vatel Bahrain discussed opportunities for
collaboration in the field of student exchange programs, providing unique
opportunities for students to gain international experience, in addition to
addressing the various academic aspects as well as practical training,
admission procedures and the different software solutions used.
Al Khalifa toured the campus facilities, got acquainted with the experience of residing in Vatel Hotel and Spa, took an exploratory tour of the departments and learned about the practical training process in the various departments of the hotel such as the reservations department, the kitchen, and others.
Al Khalifa said, “We are pleased to connect with the management of Vatel Hotel & Tourism Business School in the French city of Nîmes, and to work on enhancing constructive collaboration through student exchange, in line with the strategy of Vatel represented in graduating students who are characterized by being global citizens.”
He expressed his hope that "the visit contributes to supporting the college students' acquisition of unique practical experience in the hotel, tourism, and hospitality sectors."
Shaikh Khaled stressed that "this visit comes within the framework of the Vatel Bahrain's plan to exchange educational experiences, attract students and enable them to acquire academic and practical skills and experiences," noting that "this step is in line with the initiatives of the Government Action Plan 2019-2022, regarding promoting educational tourism in the Kingdom of Bahrain."
Shaikh Khaled bin Khalifa Al Khalifa noted that Vatel Bahrain will continue to work and collaborate with the numerous Vatel campuses for further development and exchange of experiences.
